From having typed the "e" char, go from that grub menu into the
kernel line (linux ...) of your actual kernel, and insert a "3"
(or "s") character between "quiet" and "rhgb", surrounded by
blanks, and press Ctrl+X for booting. You will land in a tty
console, where you can login (as root for example). Then you may
remove /etc/X11/xorg.conf.d/10-monitor.conf. After this, reboot
normally.

Yes, I googled a bit and found it. I didn't realize that after
typing "e" I could scroll down in the menu that comes up. After
finding that I was able to add the "3" and get a prompt and delete
the file 10-monitor.conf that I created earlier.<br>
<br>
I now have two computers running F-19 and need to finish
configuring, made both fresh installs from the live spin, that
leaves several hundred megs of app's to download and updates, all of
which burn up my allotment of bandwidth so I am reluctant to waste
it by starting over.<br>
