yes.. you run:<br>
# grub2-mkconfig -o /boot/grub2/grub.cfg<br>

that creates the file. Then, to install it:<br>
<br>
# grub2-install /dev/sda ( assuming you want it on the mbr of
your first drive, sda)<br>
<br>
if you are doing an OS install, yes, it will create the file in mbr
for you.<br>
