You can do this by selecting option "Troupleshooting" in the boot menu and then selecting to boot in basig graphics mode. </div><div><br></div><div>This will disable kernel modesetting and use basig graphics drivers. <br></blockquote></div><div><br></div><div>Thanks Kari,</div><div><br></div><div>I was able to boot the live image; I noticed that the touch pad doesn't work, however I have a mouse as a temporary until I can manage to get the appropriate drivers installed or modify or installed a newer kernel with the supported drivers.</div><div><br></div><div>You mentioned that I will have remove nomodset from the kernel command line or create an xorg.conf file.
