that ability is built into vlc.<br>

open VLC in desktop, insert a cd/dvd in drive.<br>

after a short pause, VLC will show a folder icon with CD/DVD.<br>

in artist directory, link each song to "a2z" directory.<br>

open VLC, press <ctrl+f>, in "Open Directory", enter path to "a2z"<br>
directory, double click "a2z".<br>
<br>
select, or not, loop and random icons at bottom left.<br>
<br>
enjoy your music.<br>
