There is a bug dealing with this 
https://bugzilla.redhat.com/show_bug.cgi?id=473154
The fix for Fedora 12 is currently in updates-testing.  In the meantime,
you can either keep any CD in the drive, or remove the CDROM from the
virtual machine config.
