Yes this is a nice idea. I'd say the most beautiful is the brown
gradient. Do you have Seth's png and the colors (RGB) you used for the
mockup?
The idea could be to insert this banner after the Fedora 19, as second
banner in the slider.

The page should be a wiki page, IMHO.

I like the idea and was thinking about something just yesterday. We
can't leave our pages as nothing has happened.
