Just a confession: I made a git goof, and I very quickly discovered
and fixed it (forcibly), since it involved pushing a large binary
unintentionally into the tree.  No one probably saw this, since I
fixed the error about 90 seconds after the first push.  But I wanted
to be honest with everyone just in case. :-)
