Hi, Noriko. I stopped the server, removed the white space and restarted as you requested. I tried to add the replication agreement again and here’s the output of the errors file. Most of the errors appear when I close the Console. The new agreement “389-01 to analog-01v” is not created.

A little more detail. I inherited 2 servers supposedly in a multi-master configuration. I intend to add a 3^rd, then retire one of the originals. I want to retain the multi-master replication. I’ve built the 3^rd, using the setup-ds-admin.pl script and one of the original servers as the configuration server. The passwords for cn=Directory Manager are the same, the bind DN is the same. I suppose the original pair might be mis-configured in some way. I can’t tell but they seem to be working – at least the users can log in.

Could you try removing the white space (by editing your dse.ldif)?

1. shutdown the server

2. edit /etc/dirsrv/slapd-YOURID/dse.ldif

   dn: cn=389 to analog,cn=replica,cn=dc\3DMYDOMAIN\2C dc\3Dcom,cn=mapping tree,cn=config

==>

   dn: cn=389 to analog,cn=replica,cn=dc\3DMYDOMAIN\2Cdc\3Dcom,cn=mapping tree,cn=config

3. restart the server
