Hi Derek,

There shouldn't be a problem using JNDI event notification capability to receive events from Fedora Directory.  I have use it before.
There's a tutorial on Sun's website.  http://java.sun.com/products/jndi/tutorial/beyond/event/index.html

Thanks David.

Seems like it may be possible to use that feature from a Java JNDI based client but I
haven't come across any straightforward example from a quick Google search.

Will investigate further but in the meantime, if anyone has an example of using this
Persistent Search feature via the Java JNDI API that they can share, it would be
appreciated.

Regards,
Derek
