perl is installed on RHEL 4.
I have checked all of the requirements, downloaded Delta.pm, created a
directory
in the LdapImport directory and placed Delta.pm in it, cd'ed to the
LdapImport
directory and executed this at the command line:

What do you mean "do anything"?
The first question it asks you is "Log file name [LdapImport.log] ?". Do
you get that far or does it crash before then?
It sounds like you may not have perl installed. What sort of system are
you running on?
