template scripts

dear all quickie,
is it possible to manually(not gui) make use of templates files
from script-templates, like:
db2bak, db2ldif, and perl scripts,
basically what I'm trying to do is to take backup and gui console is broken,
no tasks have been ever set.

Do you have the scripts in /usr/lib/dirsrv/slapd-instancename or 
/usr/lib64/dirsrv/slapd-instancename?
