Is 1.2.9.5 stable?

Hi,
 I saw that there is a 1.2.9.5 version in the source repository. Is
this version stable? Because it hasn't been announced.

No.  There is a new version 1.2.9.6 that is more stable, but we're still 
testing it.  If you can, please test it and give us your feedback.
