Hi,
Our slapd instance stopped responding to queries or processing queries this morning. There are no errors in the log that aren't normal for operation, nothing in abrt, and no apparent limits that we are hitting up against.
Is this a known issue, or is there a way to start investigating this? Any tips are appreciated.
Hi William,
it's a strange situation. What's happening at client side ?
If you take a
pstack <ns-slapd pid>
we could perhaps see what server is doing and try to diagnose why the requests are not processed.
Regards,
German.

They can't make queries. The sockets open, but SSL isn't negotiated. openssl s_client hangs at
CONNECTED(00000003)

Sadly, we have restarted the instance in question already. However, if it reoccurs I'll be sure to do this. I wanted to get some general tips on how to debug the instance in case this does happen again.
Thanks.
