Well, I was quite busy these last weeks and I had not time to spent on my
ambassador mission. :(
But now, I am ready to goal my targets. ;)
BTW, I would like to thank Alex for what she sent me.
Happy to be there again.
Feel free to contact me if you have any suggestion.
I've been busy these days planning and making initial
preparations for a Fedora Install Fest at my university here in Nepal. Could
anybody help me to sort out issues that will help to make the event more
effective, I mean some guidelines.
Thank you in advance.
I am not available for a few days, therefore I do not participate in the
meetings in 2006-06-01 and 2006-06-08.

As I am new to the Fedora Ambassadors I would first like to say hello.
Second I was wondering if any of the ambassadors will be attending the
Red Hat Summit next week in Nashville?
Some may think of this as Off Topic, but I am going for it anyhow.
You all know me as a member of the Ambassadors Steering Committee. What
you might not know is that I am also a member of the Fedora
Documentation Project and now on it's Steering Committee. My job/task
for each fedora release is as "Editor-In-Chief" for the release notes.
For FC5 I started in this position part way in to the test cycle so I
had a lot of learning to do in a very short time. With FC6 coming we
have our docs schedule posted. For FC5 we had only a small handful of
translations. I would like to see if we can expand this for the FC6
release now that I have my feet a little more under me. This got me
thinking about where I could seek help in this "dream." Was not until
today talking to MrTom, [splinux] and ruimoreira in #Fedora-Mktg that
the ambassadors project might be the perfect place to reach out. What a
great way to help spread the word about Fedora than in your own
language. Don't know why I did not think of it before.
I do not want to take up anymore time on this list for this topic. If
you think you might be interested in helping out with a translation,
feel free to drop by #Fedora-Docs on Freenode or join the mailing
For more information about translation Check out the L10N and Docs
Translation pages on the Wiki. There are also pages on the
fedora.redhat.com site to help get you started.

After some thoughts and reviewing what money i have i have found that i
can create a manual for the fedora core 5 in glossy paper along with some stickers
or some posters.
But the thing is that if the logo approval takes so long i won't have the time to
create all these. I have started translating everything i have for fedora and spoke
with some people about creating a fedora mirror and a local land line phone for fedora support.
The idea i am very fond of is creating a DVD of fedora along with an
installation manual packed in a dvd case freely distributable.
Need your ideas people.
