let me first introduce my self, I am M.Sc CS and RHCE, I have been working
in Free / Open Source Technologies around last five years, mostly
Redhat/Fedora based technologies, I have Dev. experience in GTK+ although i
am full time Linux SysAdmin, currently I am working as Data Center
Consultant in a Brazilian company in Mozambique, Africa. I have publish few
articles i.e. some recent links
While i am at the same time Fedora Project Ambassador i.e. *http://
fedoraproject*.org/wiki/*NayyarAhmad *though I d'nt got time to update my
profile here :-) but still I am working in various aspect of promoting Free
/ Open Source word in community. secondly I have started a series of Linux
Learning CBTs, currently I am recording them and soon will be realised under
GPL i.e. http://cbtcandy.org
As you can see the affiliation with Free / Open Source, this time I have
decided to participate in LinuxTag Berlin 2007 <http://www.linuxtag.org/>
and become a part of this big event. I want you to know the registeration
process and further guide lines, so that I can plan a trip and ensure my
presence in LinuxTag Berlin 2007 <http://www.linuxtag.org/> as it will be "a
dream come true" sort of situation.
Can anybody please give me a few point/link why people should contribute to
fedora and overall GNU/Linux? I mean something what will affect the
listeners instantly and make them thinking of contributing...
Apart from what is mentioned in the overview page,of course.

I agree with you and I discust about this point
with Chitlesh 3 weeks ago and we have the same
point of view.
But, after a short discussion with himm we share
the same point of view about this subjet is :
1st Step : Creation of a legal entity in your
country (Exemple Fedora-FR in France)
2nd Step : After the 1st step I OK
- It's necessary we have a really big local
- Strong local message on the Fedora Commnunity.
- Prepare the local event and share it with the
Europen Fedora team (Exemple Fudcon, I agree it's
a major event, but very good exemple to share the

I think is very important for everyone to put a face on every name, to
give a more human approach, as it is discussed on in the MustHave .
Even if i got it wrong, it would be nice to see a picture of each one of
us in the PersonalPages, so I'd like to encourage everyone to do it.
I started with mine http://fedoraproject.org/wiki/NicolasCorrarello ,
you can e-mail me to say how ugly or goofy I look :D

I was going a little confused in this Non-Free and OSS mixup... to explain
my problem take a look at this small case-study..
Fact : Mp3 decoding is not legal without paying royalty fees (in some
Case : XYZ installs FedoraCore (100% OSS Guaranteed :-) ) and installs his
fav MP3 player from say Yum or RPM download or...
Now is it illegal to :
1. Write an MP3 (decoder which is available for free download) player
2 Use this MP3 Player
3. <if i missed anything>
