Czech and Slovak actions

Hello all, After my little pause of ambassador for .sk caused by my move to Czech Republic, I'm ready to take over of this responsibility again. Some days ago, I got in touch with Czech community of Fedora and we agree that we need to merge our forces, like Extras and Core merged :) I'll take the responsibilities of Czech Ambassador until we find better candidate. For near future we are preparing few projects. # fedora.cz and fedoraproject.sk First at all, we want to move this sites to new server in some time /when I got enough money :)/. Fedora.cz is a portal pointing to other community sites and take care of discussion forum that have at the moment about 7442 posts, what is amazing for that time I think! # Freenode channel #fedora-cs We decides to merge #fedora-sk and #fedora-cz channels on irc.freenode.org to #fedora-cs, because Slovak and Czech understand each other without big difficulties. In this way the power of community can be stronger from my point of view. # Fedora Distribution I hope that in some month I can find some finance to sponsoring the distribution of free Fedora CD's to Slovak and Czech republic. Event Report: Feel IT in Bamberg / Germany

Hi! Yesterday I visited a convention/fair of Deutsche Telekom in Bamberg/Germany. The fair is organized by and for apprentices/trainees of Deutsche Telekom and apart from the conference with several talks about Linux/UNIX and Open Source they set up several booths for demonstrating their projects. Partly I was on an official mission for Red Hat and gave a presentation about Virtualization using Xen. My private Fedora contribution were 100 Fedora Core 6 DVDs which I handed over to the local Fedora advocates ... An intro :) My name is Nabeel Moidu. I am an engineering graduate from Kerala, India. I work at Red Hat in Pune, India as a system administrator . I've been using Linux for over two years now . I'm more into the system and network administration side . My main intention to join the Fedora project was to spin a live cd in my local language malayalam to make it easier for people from my state to familiarize with Fedora and GNU Linux so that they could avoid the installation hassle before they get to know it well. FLISOL Honduras - Report

There was a riot at the University(Flisol´s place), so it got closed, and I ended with lots of papers, brochures, flyers, etc... Guess it´ll be next FLISOL. Nothing else to report. Hubo una huelga en la Universidad(Lugar del Flisol), así que cerró, y me quedé con muchos papeles, brochures, volantes, etc... Creo que será el siguiente Flisol. Nada más que reportar.
