FOSDEM and LinuxTag vs. Max and Paul (who's where when)

Uhm...does that mean that you won't come to LinuxTag 2008 in Berlin/Germany
as well if you're no longer THE Fedora Project Leader? Or is your budget at
Red Hat still filled enough for such a tiny and important trip?
And which of you two (Max and Paul) will show up on FOSDEM? Paul, will you
be able to get Berlin for the LinuxTag? I'm asking this, because during the
Fedora Ambassadors Day EMEA 2007 we decided, that the LinuxTag 2008 is the
most important event for EMEA and Max simply has to show up there (as we
did not know at that point of this personnel change).
Max, thank you very much for your past efforts and your work for Fedora - I
think, you did a great job and it's a pitty for me that you will be likely
not with us in May in Berlin. If possible, it surely is nice to see the old
and the new Fedora Project Leader there. And Paul, you're accepting a very
hard inheritance, nevertheless my congratulation and best wishes for you. I
am very sure, you'll get bothered same often by Fedora EMEA as Max got ;-)

EMEA, FOSDEM in February

Hi Guys,
has anybody of the responsible taken the task to look for accomodation
of the FEDORA Group in ONE Hotel?
It makes sense, because of many task we have to solve outside and beside
the FOSDEM.

For the moment list is very short, but I think everyone can add some particular services (network is big, and fedora people crowd fast! Fedora groups is everywhere :-)

Ambassador Vendor Page Reminder

In late November I announced the creation of the AmbassadorVendors
page located here:

If you are a Fedora Ambassador and have had a successful experience
placing a bulk order for T-shirts, stickers, etc in your area, please
take a moment to add that vendor to the AmbassadorVendor page.
The hope is that this will help make it easier for Ambassadors to find
a source for materials for their event from a vendor that already has
some familiarity of a typical Fedora order. An Ambassador should be
able to contact one of the vendors on the page and carry out the
ordering process with ease. This page will also be a source of
information for a store.fedoraproject.org page being discussed and
planned by the Store SIG [1].
If you have any questions feel free to post them to the list or find me on IRC.
