FAmSCo Nominations
by Joerg Simon
Hi Ambassadors,
there are so many busy Ambassadors who have the pontential to improve the
performance of the Ambassador Group. I know i will nominated more people then
seats in FAmSCo, but there are many more, who deserves to become elected.
I nomitate
Clint Savage
David Nalley
Pascal Calarco
Jeffrey Tadlock
for FAmSCo, because, from my perspective, this are North Americas Ambassadors
who have worked hard to give this region new drive, structure and unity.
For his great performance as FAmSCo Vice-Chair, his perfect work on all our
common events, his support in the Ambassador Administrator Team and many more
i nominate Fabian and would be happy to see him as the new FAmSCo Chair.
Francesco Crippa was a great help in the past year, he was constantly present
where help was needed he sponsored a lot MarketingMaterial and a lot time
from people at byte-code - so i nominate him as well!
I know the Indian Team (112 Ambassadors) is thinking about "the right"
Candidate ;) and i am sure it is one of the four candidates i have in my
mind - this candidate will have all my support!
I am sure i have forgotten someone important, Max and Red are both already
listed and they will have my vote!
CU Joerg

FAmSCo Nominations: Few days are left!
by Francesco Ugolini
Hi fellow Ambassadors,
FAmSCo nomination period is going to an end (last possible day will be
December 3rd). BTW, there is still some time for people to add their
names in the wiki page [1].
I want to thank all the people that have nominated themselves: Sandro
Mathys, Rodrigo Padula, Joerg Simon, Max Spevack, Larry Cafiero,
Hector Gonzalez, Susmit Shannigrahi, David Nalley and Thomas Canniot.
I hope to see other names in this list :)
Best regards
Francesco Ugolini

Thoughts on future FADNA gatherings
by inode0
A few questions for North American ambassadors about upcoming FADNA
events (all other ambassadors are certainly welcome to contribute
their insights into our thinking process too). None of the options
below are choices for now but learning how you would prefer FADNA to
be organized would be helpful to those involved in planning future
events.
If we were to organize the next FADNA to be held in conjunction with
the Southeast Linuxfest (http://southeastlinuxfest.org/) in June 2009
would you be interested in attending? Would you prefer a half-day
event on Sunday morning following SELF or something longer? Would
Friday events be something you would also be able to attend?
If FADNA were occasionally attached to a FUDcon event, either running
as part of the main event or by extending it a day for FADNA, would
that appeal to you? Would that help you get to a FUDcon by adding
value to the event for you?
Would an occasional 2 or 3 day long standalone FADNA event be
appealing to you? One long weekend devoted entirely to FADNA?
Thanks,
John
