FAmNA polos: Ready for another order!
by Pascal Calarco
North American Fedora Ambassadors --
We have enough orders for another round of Ambassador polos, but I
wanted to offer a "last call" and another week of people who would like
to put their name, size and quantity on the wiki:
https://fedoraproject.org/wiki/FAMNA_Ambassador_Gear
Please edit the wiki above with your name, size and quantity, and then
also e-mail me off-list with your mailing address. If you sent me this
ages ago and I can't find it, I will follow up with you individually. If
you have moved since you sent it to me, send me your new shipping address.
One difference now that we did not do so strictly in the past is that we
will check not only that someone has a signed CLA to contribute to the
Project but also that folks requesting the polos are also current
members of the Ambassador team as well (FAmNA Board: is this still the
case?).
Next Friday, June 18 I'll start sending out PayPal invoices to those
folks on the wiki for the orders that are on the wiki. Questions? Just
ask.

Media -> POSSE -> Toronto?
by Andrew Overholt
Hi,
Some of us in Toronto are planning a release party but would like some
printed media. Is anyone going to POSSE in Rochester that can bring
some media for Chris Tyler to bring back to Toronto?
Thanks,
Andrew

Yes, do not be so hard on yourself.

I will be there as well -- floating around the floor, helping, covering
the Ubuntu booth, Lugor booth and Fedora booth.

I know the banners are being shipped to me with a schedule to arrive
Thursday or Friday. I believe someone asked for my addy to send DVD/CDs
as well. I am not sure about swag. Let me know if someone needs me
address.

Mel:
I have sent out several messages and not gotten any responses. We are
roughly a week away so I will try again.

I have to introduce the keynotes and do my own presentation, but I can
be around some the rest of the day.

Call for Fedora 13 release events.
by susmit shannigrahi
Hi All,
We are pretty excited about the release we are approaching. Thanks
goes to everyone for their brilliant efforts.
The release events have always been an integral part of our releases.
Many ambassadors and contributors have already started planning the
parties.
As we have merely three weeks to go before the release, its time that
we start working on placing things in place.
If you are planning an event, you are welcome to do it.
To make things easier to organise, please follow the steps (there are
not many steps to follow though. :))
1. Start by creating an wiki page. The wikipage should be at
https://fedoraproject.org/wiki/Release_Party_F13_<your_city>.
2. Edit the page and at the top of the page write
{{subst:ReleaseParty}} and save.
3. Now fill in the details. Information requirement is minimal. You
won't need more than five minutes.
4. Link your page from https://fedoraproject.org/wiki/F13_release_events
If you need any budget or support for your release event, you are
welcome to ask for it. Please fill in the appropriate section in your
event page.
Also, we will have a meeting in the second week of May (Around 10th)
to discuss issues and clarifications regarding organisation of release
events. In the meanwhile, if you want to ask anything or need
anything, please drop me/Tatica/Luca a mail.
Thanking you all for your brilliant efforts,

Regards,
