the media production company for the media in EMEA would be willing to
offer us a discount in future if we put them (their logo) on our
website as a sponsor of fp.o.
Would that be possible/welcome?
Mit freundlichen Grüßen / with kind regards,

See you there,
Hi, see, sometime ago I added my blog to fedora planet, I can't remember
exactly what I done but I accesed my public folder in fedora people and
replaced the ".planet" file with mine like in this video:
<http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=pSDqNgS5Svo>The problem is that in that time
I had Fedora 12 KDE x86_64 and I remember it was quite difficult to
accomplish that task and now that I installed Fedora 13 (KDE x86_64) I can't
access to my Fedora People Folder, "Konsole" throws "Permisson Denied
(publickey)" error to me and well, I've created a new key and it's uploaded
in the FAS and it's also stored in my ".ssh" folder inside of my personal
Folder, but I can't access to my Fedora People Space... ¿What can I do? I
want to change my picture URL for fedora planet in order to put a new one
but I am unable to edit the ".planet" file stored in the server... ¿Can you
By the way, the firewall is disabled.

I was wondering why fedorasolved.org isn't featured on the
Communicate page? The instructions on the site are better than any
Fedorasolved is provided as a link in the Firefox that Fedora ships. So
I don't think there is a legal issue.
Any info on this please?
In our life, sometime, it comes the time where the things you want to
do become far and, even you can try to keep up with it, all the
efforts result in a failure.
I think this is just the case. You don't know how disappointed I can
be writing these lines, but I can't fool myself and you with future
plans: i can't keep up with the project.
First of all I want to make clear one thing: I'm using Fedora Linux
and will continue to use it.
What is changed since I have joined the project?
I started contributing without any ambition and I received things that
I didn't expect to receive: experience, leadership and new friends.
These are the rewards for all the time I spent in the project, trying
to improve and make it bigger. I don't know if I have succeeded but,
sure, I've done all my best.
My student's duties took me away for a while, like it happened in the
previous years, but, when I went back, it wasn't the same. Thing were
changed and, damn, they had changed in better. Ambassadors project had
become well organized, with a great FAmSCo, great Ambassadors and
great mentors, but I wasn't able to work like I did. My fault. Soon I
have become an inactive Ambassador, like the many I've tried to
convince to come back.
I get more that I expected and now it's time to have new experiences
and find something that could boost my knowledge and energy. Sure, my
experience here will help wherever I'll go!
Now, here I'm. Writing this goodbye email with a sad heart, but a
Many people didn't trust me at the beginning, then they changed mind.
These are the first ones I want to thank. If I've tried to improve
myself, it's because of you. I commend you to continue to do the same
with the men and women that empower this amazing community.
A big thank to all the people who helped me being what I become,
especially who I met during the events I attended around Europe and
the FAmSCo members I worked with.
Many of you have become part of my soul. Max, Joerg, Francesco, Luca,
Gerold and more and more (sorry if I can't name all of you). I'll
never forget you and I hope to stay in touch with you, even if not
directly for this special project.
Saying goodbye is not simple. You think at what you want to underline
and what to not forget but, at the end, you know you have missed
something, forget to thank someone and, maybe, think that you are
doing the wrong thing. But time is passing, things are changing and
looking back doesn't help taking the right decision.
So, here I am. Thank you my friends for everything. I wish you all my best.
Long life to Fedora Project, one of the marvelous experience I've ever had.
Hello my Fedora friends!
Talking points are key highlights of the new release. They should be
compelling, but they will not necessarily be comprehensive. There are
different types of talking points for different types of people:
general desktop users/everyone, developers, and sysadmins. For the
Fedora 14 cycle, we will also have talking points to address some of
the Spins. They are meant to provide a short, effective answer to the
question, "What cool stuff is in the latest release of Fedora?"
Each cycle, the Marketing team compiles a short list of approximately
three talking points for each of these audiences for the upcoming
release. For Fedora 14, they're found here:
If you have a talking point that you feel meets the criteria found on
the talking points SOP page at
https://fedoraproject.org/wiki/Talking_points_SOP, add it to the the
table on the F14 page with supporting information. Please make your
contributions and changes on the wiki page, so that the Marketing team
can efficiently capture and consider your input.
The Marketing team will make final adjustments to the list of talking
points at their meeting on August 3, which will be announced on the
marketing list and is open to everyone. If you are interested in
attending the meeting, the agenda, location, and time details can be
found at http://fedoraproject.org/wiki/Marketing_meetings. Following
the meeting, the finalized list of talking points will be announced,
and posted to https://fedoraproject.org/wiki/Fedora_14_Talking_Points.
We welcome you to participate in the process!
All the best!

I just wanted to let you know, in case you didn't see it on Fedora
Planet, that our newest design team member Emily Dirsh has created a
very nice Fedora-branded template. You are more than welcome to use this
template in your future presentations - the Fedora Design team would
love to know what you think of it if you do. The template, with
instructions on how to use it, is available here:
You will need to install the fonts Droid Sans (yum install
google-droid-sans-fonts) and Comfortaa (currently being packaged, for
now grab it at http://www.fontsquirrel.com/fonts/Comfortaa ) in order to
use the template. These fonts are both free and openly-licensed so no
worries on using them.
