... Dear Fedora Steering whatever,
there is no official paper, that says that "Fedora EMEA e.V." must
rename hisself because of whatever. There are only discussions about
that, because Red Hat dislike it sudden!
But it is also real that we don't get any support as NPO, but we also
didn't asked for, right.
So Jared, Paul, Max Jim or Whitehurst send me as President of the Fedora
EMEA e.V. NPO the request with a explanation WHY and HOW we should
rename that NPO and I will definitly go to decide with the Board and
Members.
All the Best

A few observations on the Fedora 13 CD covers
by Ville-Pekka Vainio
Hi all,
I'm currently at the Linux booth at the Assembly demo party at Helsinki,
Finland. I've noticed a few things about the CD covers we have.
- I might be revisiting a really old discussion here, but because we
have both KDE and "Desktop" (i.e. GNOME) live CDs here, some people seem
to be confused about the GNOME CD being called "Desktop Live Media"
while the KDE CD is called "KDE Desktop Live Media". I think it would be
clearer if the GNOME/Desktop disk clearly said on the cover that it's
GNOME.
- Some people also seem to be confused about what "Live Media" means and
they think they won't be able to install from a live CD. We also have
Ubuntu CDs here and those don't say anything about being live media, so
it might be better to either drop the live media thing completely or add
"installable" or something like that on the cover.
- I've heard people say a couple of times that the Fedora CD covers look
better than the Ubuntu ones :)

hu.fedoracommunity.org
by Zoltan Hoppar
Hi,
I need a bit guidance to how can I achieve to get this subdomain registered.
We currently trying to put together the first official hungarian community
site with blessing of Red Hat (if possible), and we need the proper TM
description too. Big main question is - we shall put together an baby site,
and must have an review to get positive decision, or we could have the
domain registered earlier, after an detailed sitemap plans (introducing
local services also)?
Yet we only have the plans, the hosting space is under registration (at
elin.hu) - so, an little help who knows the way?
Thanks, regards

Linux.conf.au fad proposal
by Dennis Gilmore
Hey all ive submitted a miniconf for LCA to be run as a FAD in the vein of
a
mini FUDCon type event
https://fedoraproject.org/wiki/LCA_2011_FAD
as
i
have in the wiki the goals are
* Explain Features coming in Fedora
15.
*
Explain how Fedora and The community works, Show how someone can be
involved
and help guide Fedora's future.
* Provide an opportunity for users
and
developers to interact.
All in the vain of a mini FUDCon. With
the
ultimate goal of having a full fledged FUDcon in .au
To pull this
off
first the LCA organisers need to accept the miniconf and I would
need
funding for travel, as well as media, pens , maybe some
other
swag.
