Thank you for this info, I'm planning several short presentations about
Fedora Project at the University of Galati, Romania, and I did not know from
where / how to get Fedora 11 CDs / DVDs.
I have successfully completed the FIRST FAD in Sri Lanka yesterday at SLIIT,
The main objective of this event is to get the IT undergraduates' support
towards the Fedora project and increase the number of contributors from Sri
The event took place in the morning 9:00 - 11:00 am. Myself handle the whole
event and discussed following topics.
* What is the Fedora Project
* Why and How to Join
* Introduction to some teams in the fedora project
* Fedora LK Community launch
The event is really successful and waiting to see more contributors from
Fedora LK Community.
LK Community Wiki - https://fedoraproject.org/wiki/LK_Community
LK Community ML - https://admin.fedoraproject.org/mailman/listinfo/lk-users
Further fedora join page is being translated in to si and hoping to cover
all the other teams' join pages as well.

I could not find any docs about media production without ambassadors
involved (nor FamSco approval).
Fedora is free software, mostly under GPL, if an NPO ask me if they
could sell a DVD containing only Free Softwares, as well as the Fedora
Live CD included, is there any problem? I don't think so if the Fedora
Project iso is not altered.
Is there a difference between hundreds and thousands units?
What about selling respins?
Which wiki page details this?
as Fedora 16 is around the corner, FAmSCo elections are, too.
All 7 seats in FAmSCo are up for re-election. This means:
1. we need at least 7 people who run for FAmSco
2. we need you to ask the candidates your questions
3. we need somebody to gather these questions and do the
4. we need people to chair the IRC townhall meetings with the
According to the schedule the townhalls should happen until Friday,
October 28th, 2011. This means we need to hurry with all other items.
The questionnaire will take place in the wiki. The person to organize it
will set up a page their for your questions, mail all candidates and
collect their answers and put them on the wiki again. Of course this
should be somebody who is not running for FAmSCo.
If you want to run for FAmSCo or if you have suggestions who should run,
please speak up!
There is nothing wrong with making suggestions, in fact I consider it a
good thing, but please contact the person in question before you suggest
her/him in public.
Please help us forming a strong FAmSCo for the next year!
This mail is a reminder for today's meeting for the French speaking community.

Ce mail est un rappel pour la réunion de la communauté francophone, qui aura lieu ce lundi (31 octobre) à 20h30 heure de Paris sur IRC (freenode) #fedora-meeting .

Sorry about that. I really would like to see some girls in FAmSCo.
What you always wanted to know from FAmSCo or the Fedora Board, but
never dared to ask... ask now!
Please add your questions to the wiki at
https://fedoraproject.org/wiki/F17_elections_questionnaire ASAP in order
to give the candidates enough time to think about them and respond.
Ask now or be quite for ever! ;)
My fellow ambassadors,
nominations for the next FAmSCo are now open. If you would like to run,

And if you would like to propose a candidate, please make sure to
