Thank you for this info, I'm planning several short presentations about
Fedora Project at the University of Galati, Romania, and I did not know from
where / how to get Fedora 11 CDs / DVDs.
I have successfully completed the FIRST FAD in Sri Lanka yesterday at SLIIT,
The main objective of this event is to get the IT undergraduates' support
towards the Fedora project and increase the number of contributors from Sri
The event took place in the morning 9:00 - 11:00 am. Myself handle the whole
event and discussed following topics.
* What is the Fedora Project
* Why and How to Join
* Introduction to some teams in the fedora project
* Fedora LK Community launch
The event is really successful and waiting to see more contributors from
Fedora LK Community.

Greetings all from Milan!
We are about to start our FUDCon Milan and many people are already here :)
As Ambassadors we will propose 3 sessions (at least) for the BarCamp
section of FUDCon.
1. Joining Ambassadors (Mentorship, Recruiting, Fine tuning procedures)
2. Ambassadors Day-to-Day (Payments, Requests, Elections, SOPs,
Meetings, How we can be more efficient) <- That could be a double
3. Ambassadors Schedule (What makes sense and what not, fine tuning)
The idea is to have brainstorming sessions about these subject,
leveraging the fact that so many Ambassadors meet in person.
Solid proposals will be made by the end of the sessions about things
that we would like to change. Please provide any feedback about the
scope of the sessions here :)
For those of you that want to attend the sessions but could not be
here with us I suggest you join #fedora-ambassadors on Freenode IRC to
follow live what's happening (We will extremely live-IRC it :) )
Also if you are attending FUDCon *please* make sure to join us in
#fedora-fudcon as that will be our main communication channel!
(Especially during the flux of today)
Will be posting updates about the date/time of the sessions.
See ya all around!

an expert from an e-mail I just got in my mailbox :-)
everyone who is interested in giving a talk during the fosdem 2012
distribution conf should register on the mailing list.
If you're receiving this, that means you've been actively participating
in the distributions devroom at FOSDEM 2011 for your project. Since the
organization for FOSDEM 2012 has now started, and since we're going to
be doing another cross-distributions devroom again this edition, I'd
like to invite you to participate again. If you don't have the time to
work on this, please be so kind as to forward this mail to people in
your project whom you think would be interested.
The cross-distributions devroom will this year happen again, and the
mailinglist this year is going to be 'distributions(a)lists.fosdem.org'.
Yes, that means we won't need to ask you to subscribe to a different
mailinglist again next year. A formal call for talks will follow later
this week, but feel free to do a call for talks in your project already.
The rules will be similar to the ones from last year: people who want to
do a talk in the cross-distributions devroom should send a proposal with
a (short) abstract, title, their name, and a bio to the list, and this
no later than the 22nd of December.
