Need Fedora Swags/Media for SFD (Nepal Celebration)
by Aks 13 Sep '11

13 Sep '11

Hello Everyone, Nepal is celebrating it's 6th SFD in a row, and we were able to bag best event award for three consecutive years (2007, 2008, 2009). It's a high time in SFD 2011 to promote Fedora, as SFD is being celebrated in 4 towns of Nepal with huge celebration (estimated: 1700). I was planning for some swags, and had discussed this in APAC meetings as well. Since the time is running out, and the event being this Saturday (17 September), it is almost impossible to ship the swags to Nepal. Instead we can produce it locally and have it distributed to the SFD venues. I also had a series of talks with the organizers and they happily agreed to have Fedora as a supporter/sponsor, and I can get booth/stall for Fedora and a session as well. I've also filed a ticket at FAMSCO trac, which is available at https://fedorahosted.org/famsco/ticket/216. I need at least 2 days for media production, and a quick response on the ticket would help me to produce them on time. Thank You. -- Abhishek Singh FOSS Nepal Community http://wiki.fossnepal.org

Hello all! Here are the meeting minutes and the log of today's FAmSCo meeting. In this meeting we discussed the Chinese community domain, took care of some tickets and approved Nushio [1] as a new mentor. The membership system needs to be updated in order to reflect the approval. Joerg, could you please make this effective?
