FAmNA Meeting Announcement (15 January 2013)

I'd like to remind everyone that it is important for us to get some work
accomplished at these meetings and staying on the topic is important
to that end. All comments are welcome from ambassadors during the
meetings but please wait until the Open Floor to add any subject
matter not included in the meeting agenda via a ticket.
Feel free to add to the agenda. The easy way to add an agenda item is
described at the bottom of this announcement. Especially if you have
an event coming up that needs some attention.

EMEA meeting 2013-01-16 is looking for a chair

Hello everyone,
I won't be able to chair the Wed's EMEA meeting because I'll be
travelling to FUDCon Lawrence. Christoph can't chair it either because
of his work duties.
We haven't skipped a meeting for a long time and I hope we won't skip
this time either. We're looking for someone who will take the duty and
chair the meeting. I know there are many of you in EMEA who can do it
very well.

FY 2014 - budget for SWAG production - RFC

Hello Fellow APAC FAms,
Following would be the budget for SWAG production and related expenses
in APAC region for FY 2014. Please review it and post if you have any
concern or question.

SWAG Production – APAC
FY 2014 Q1 / FY 2014 Q2 – 2013 March to 2013 August, F19 2000
FY 2014 Q3 / FY 2014 Q4 – 2013 September to 2014 February, F20 2000
4000 * .65 = USD 2600.00
Lap Stickers 1 per DVD
4000 * .25 = USD 1000.00
Fedora buttons
1000 * .50 = USD 500.00
Total = USD 4100.00
with 10% reserves = USD 4510.00
International Postage = 2*18*50 = USD 1800.00
Provision for other SWAG (common provision)= USD 500.00
Total = USD 6810.00
Provision for International Postage : Use to distribute SWAG with in
18 countries in APAC upon the requests and requirement. Postage
(International Air Post) is 2 times per year in Q1 and Q2, Q3 and Q4.
Additional : If the total budget is lower than the expectation I would
like to make available another USD 500 to support the production of
SWAG such as Tshirts, caps and etc to support expanding the project in
APAC region.

Call for tester/feedback on fedocal

Dear all,
Lately, I have spent sometime working on a web-application that would
allow us to manage calendar: fedocal.
I started with the idea to replace the #fedora-meeting wiki page [1]
which in addition from not being up to date relies on a mediawiki table
which a number of person find really hard to handle/edit.
Additionally it should be able to handle meeting reminder in a
consistent and automated manner.
I also had in mind to be able to have a calendar for the infrastructure,
things like planned outage and all.
I spoke with some person about this at the last FUDCon in Paris and they
told me, it might be interesting to have a calendar also available for
the ambassadors.
Something that could/would replace the Events page [2]. This means that
on the contrary to the #fedora-meeting calendar, the ambassador one can
have several meetings at the same time and that we should be able to
assign them to a region (EMEA/APAC/LATAM/NA).
I took this into account and added the desired functionality to fedocal.
I think I am now close to an alpha release so I would like to call for
tester and feedback.

What simply doesn't work?
