***
Please join us for our weekly FAmNA meeting this Tuesday at 9:00pm
Eastern in #fedora-meeting on irc.freenode.net.
I'd like to remind everyone that it is important for us to get some work
accomplished at these meetings and staying on the topic is important
to that end. All comments are welcome from ambassadors during the
meetings but please wait until the Open Floor to add any subject
matter not included in the meeting agenda via a ticket.
Feel free to add to the agenda. The easy way to add an agenda item is
described at the bottom of this announcement. Especially if you have
an event coming up that needs some attention.
This week's meeting leader: ???

Fedora 20 Release Parties: Owner awards!
by Robert Mayr
Hi Ambassadors,
Fedora 20 has been released, Christmas vacations are over and now it's
time to make Release Parties happen! DVDs are already in Brno (for
EMEA) and I know they should be available in these days also in all
the other Regions.
Fedora 20 means not only a release version number, we are celebrating
10 years of Fedora Project and we want to have a lot of awesome
Release Parties. Therefore FAmSCo decided to reward the owners of a
F20 Release Event with a special gift.
* BADGES! Yeah, every Release Party owner will get a Party badge [1]
* 10 years T-SHIRT! Owners will also get one of the 10 years Fedora shirts [2]
If you were unsure whether to organize a Release Event or not, now you
should simply make it happen.
1) Create an event page and add it to the Fedora 20 Release Events [3].
2) If you need swags and media request them ASAP in your regional swag trac.
3) Add a link of your party report to your event page and post it to
the list (as usual).
It would be really nice to have as many Release Parties as never, and
I'm sure all of them will be special.

Ask Fedora multi language support
by Rahul Sundaram
Hi
Ever since we launched Ask Fedora, I have had ambassadors and other
contributors ask me repeatedly about multi language support and it looks we
can finally enable it
For a working demo from the staging instance, refer to
https://ask.stg.fedoraproject.org/eo/questions/
However enabling it for all languages doesn't make sense with having
language specific communities moderating and managing that part of Ask
Fedora actively.
So if you want support for your native tongue enabled in Ask Fedora and you
are an ambassador or translator etc willing to be a moderator in the forum
for your language, please let me know or post to the Fedora infrastructure
list. If already have askbot deployed in your local language, we can look
into migrating that data over as well if you wish to do so.
Note that askbot upstream considers multi language support as experimental
and there are some rough edges as described at
http://askbot.org/en/question/12111/improving-multi-language-support/
We will probably find other issues as we deploy it and work with upstream
to get it fixed. Thank you for your patience.
