Hello
I have submitted an idea for a talk. How do I review the submission.
Also asking if multiple submissions on different topics are possible?
Thanks

Hi all,
We hosted a release party for Fedora 24 in Paris, France, during the first
saturday of september, along another recurrent event (the "Premier samedi
du libre", "the first Saturday of the libre" ) We have made two talks, a
translation initiation (we welcome a new contributor), and installed some
Fedora. Nearly fifty people attended the event.
You can find the full report here:

(thanks to the CommOps team !)
I really want to thank again Emmanuel Seyman (eseyman) and Jean-Baptiste
Holcroft (jibecfed) for their help before, during, and after the event.
Many thanks also to the french community who support us !
Alexandre
Bonsoir,
Finalement je ne serais pas là ce soir encore.
Niveau avancement j'ai une actualité pour la journée de tests de
demain qui est prête. Sinon rien à signaler.
Bonne soirée et bonne semaine.

As a local Fedora ambassador, I happened to be informed by another
member/ambassador of Fedora Chinese User Group that an event will be
held in the city where I live at to celebrate Software Freedom Day.
The event took place in Xi'an University of Postal and
Telecommunication, which is close to where I live. Upon arriving at
the conference room inside well decorated university library, I was
warm-welcomed by the organizer and volunteers. Later I know they're
all part of their well-formed Linux User Group.
Clearly quite an effort was put into this event and this is far better
than any university-organized SFD events I ever attended. Well-lighted
conference room with multiple projectors, speedy Wifi coverage,
real-time social network boards, and speakers from open-source
companies with big names in China. Audience were composed by
professors from School of Computing, members of local LUG and freshmen
to university, over 200. I was told by the organizer that LUG has been
organizing local SFD event for 11 years. The complexity of organizing
an event like this was well-established and communicated with
university management team, thus even for someone like him who's
pretty new to LUG, they can organize the event like a professional.
Besides me, other speakers are from Deepin, a local Linux istro and
Ubuntu Kylin, a co-operate distro between China and Canonical.
Presentations they gave are focused around on life experience and open
source communities 101. The talk I presented are around two new stuff
found in recently released Fedora 25 Alpha: Wayland and Flatpak.
Probably because it's only one talk about technology, it was
well-received. I'm confident on this because some good questions were
asked during FAQ session.
Speeches were followed by the usual lucky draw and group photos. It
ended at noon as planned. Checked swags I brought, they were all
distributed to the people with good minds, I believe.
More details and photos about this event can be found on Wiki:

Hello all!
Trying to find out when the EMEA meetings are held I noticed that the
wiki with ambassadors meeting dates is outdated.
I will fix the LATAM dates that I know for sure, but can anyone tell me
if the other dates are correct or not?

Cheers,
