The Fate of Ambassador Programme
by Onyeibo Oku
Hi everyone
Perhaps this is not news anymore but it seems the relevance of the
Ambassadors Programme is in doubt. There is a Mindshare Ticket probing
for role of Fedora Ambassadors in 2019 and best use of
resources/time/energy (https://pagure.io/mindshare/issue/145)
Have you seen it? What are your thoughts? Are we jaded?
Say something ... here, there.
Perhaps I am hanging on to an old concept -- the nostalgia must have
been too strong.

FOSDEM
by Brian (bex) Exelbierd
Hi All,
I haven't heard anyone mention FOSDEM yet. Booth applications are due soon
and I'd like to see us coordinate again with our friends in CentOS. Is
there anyone interested in owning this? If so, can you put together a
proposal for Mindshare?
regards,
bex

Awesome! FOSDEM booth would benefit from people which specialize in
certain topics, not just being Fedora generalists.
Do you have some ideas how we can highlight this? Print additional
handouts, which explain what Radio SIG is doing, maybe posters,
something to put on a table? There is still time to make a request for
Design SIG to help with that.

If no one is interested in owning this, I guess I can organise it and arrange to carry swag like the previous years.

Anyone in Portland want to help out with LISA?
by Matthew Miller
Unfortunately Nick can't make it this year. We have an extra exhibitor's
pass and would love to have someone else join to help me and some CentOS
folks at the booth this year.

Fedora 31 Final Release Readiness Meeting
by Ben Cotton
Dear all,
Join us on irc.freenode.net in #fedora-meeting-1 for the Fedora 31
Final Release Readiness meeting. This meeting will be held on
Thursday, 2019-10-17 at 19:00 UTC.
We will meet to make sure we are coordinated and ready for the release
of Fedora 31 Final. Please note that this meeting will be held even if
the release is delayed at the Go/No-Go meeting on the same day two
hours earlier.
You may receive this message several times in order to open this
meeting to the teams and to raise awareness, so hopefully more team
representatives will come to this meeting. This meeting works best
when we have representatives from all of the teams.
For more information, see
https://fedoraproject.org/wiki/Release_Readiness_Meetings.
