Hi Ambassadors,
I wanted to share a preemptive heads-up that the FOSDEM 2027 planning has
begun for Fedora:
https://fedoraproject.org/wiki/FOSDEM_2027
I'm joining Daniel Mellado this year as an event co-owner for Fedora. The
applications for a Fedora stand and the Distributions DevRoom are both
already submitted. We are expecting another great FOSDEM for Fedora next
January in Brussels!
One planning detail worth noting is that we are already working on a
negotiated hotel block for Fedora and CentOS contributors. In 2027, we are
aiming for a single hotel block at the DoubleTree by Hilton Brussels City.
Shaun McCance is working on getting a larger hotel block for 2027 at the
DoubleTree than there were in previous years. Stay tuned for more info on
that, in case you want to stay together with many other Fedora friends.
If folks have questions, feel free to reply on list. A lot of details are
TBD, but the Wiki will be kept up to date as more details become concrete.
