Greetings Ambassador mailing list,

My name is Michael Berger, I live in Knoxville, TN, USA. I work as a Linux Solutions Engineer at a cable television media company which has a few of the best known lifestyle media networks in the US.  We use mainly RHEL and Solaris at work, but we are phasing out Solaris over the next year and a half or so.

For reference my FAS name is tideline and irc nick is the same.  I have recently decided it's time to start giving back more to the community and I believe the Fedora Ambassador program is a good starting place.  This is not the first project of this type I have worked on.  I was the founder and lead, for a short time, of the Tennessee Ubuntu LoCo group.  I had some changes at work as well as starting work towards an MBA degree which got in the way of continuing.  My other areas of interest within the Fedora Project are working with the Marketing Team as I feel what I have learned in the MBA program could help me contribute there.  I am also interested in virtualization and cloud technology as well.

When not working I enjoy spending time with my 4 children and finishing my MBA (I will be done in December).  I also enjoy playing and coaching soccer.

Thank you
Mike Berger
