Hi Matt and fellow ambassadors,

I highly recommend that others volunteer to represent Fedora/CentOS at USENIX on Oct 28-30. It is a great show with a highly academic crowd who prefers community supported GNU/Linux distributions. It is a great place to recruit contributors and to build the community. Far from all of the content is gratis as an exhibitor but the conversations are of high quality.

I went to LISA two years ago but I cannot personally make it this year. I went back to school so all of my cycles for free software advocacy have been with the Ohio LinuxFest which takes place on November 1 and 2 in Columbus Ohio. Ben Cotton is leading a Birds of a Feather at OLF and I am sure that we would appreciate the support. And, you'll certainly see me there. Almost all of the content is gratis as a general attendee and the conversations are high quality.

Unfortunately Nick can't make it this year. We have an extra exhibitor's
pass and would love to have someone else join to help me and some CentOS
folks at the booth this year.
