Dear Ambassadors

Greetings! I am in Ghana, Africa, spreading Free Software joy with Computer Reach.

From the show management perspective, Fedora had made an exceptional presence. The foundations banner was proudly hung in time for show open. Every one was very friendly. For all hours of show, I saw traffic and activity. Being physically close to Red Hat seemed to be mutually beneficial.

My only regret is not asking for Fedora goodies to take to Africa. I am sure there were no leftovers anyhow.

Keep up the good work.

Hello Ambassadors,

The Ohio LinuxFest[1] took place on on September 28-30, 2012 in
Columbus, OH. Fellow Ambassadors Ben Williams, Cathy Williams, Ricky
Elrod and myself went to the event to represent Fedora. Below, I have
listed the links to Ben's Ohio LinuxFest 2012 report[2], the two blog
posts: Is that Fedora running on a Raspberry Pi?[3] and How to install
and configure Fedora 17 Remix on your Raspberry Pi[4] the event
inspired me to write, and the photos I took on the first [5] and
second [6] days of the Ohio LinuxFest.

Additional post-event information:
The OLF organizers announced that over 1000 people registered for the
conference.
We distributed 200 units of F17 media (our entire supply) and all of
the Fedora pens in the event kit.

Cheers,
Sarah White
