Hello Brian, We discuss your idea and decided to try it but we need to get approval for our ticket, by now we have only 4 votes.

One of us found information about the import and I think we can do it almost without cost if the price of the products does not exceed 500 USD and we can receive the shipment in a couple of weeks.

We will discuss our ticket again this saturday.

Regards

Hello Brian, your idea is great but if we manage small quantities for every event, these maybe will not arrive on time because our postal service is a little slow or have problems with the employees. For me, import a big quantity and pay a import duty can be better.

Works for me.  I just want whatever makes it easiest for LATAM.

Today we will discus about your idea and ask for import taxes information to decide if is better send small quantities many times or one big quantity one time.

How'd it go?

Best Regards

Hello world, the peruvian fedora community will have a meeting on thursday march 2nd. The main subject orf this meeting is the swags production for 2017 year for our country (Peru). Please don't forget attend the meeting.

The meeting will be held in #fedora-pe channel in irc.freenode.net on this thursday march 2nd at 11 UTC (6:00 pm in Lima)

If anyone has a problem with the date please contact with me or Bernardo Hermitaño (fas: bernardoha)

Before moving to production would Peru be willing to consider working on a consolidated swag printing idea I have?  The basic idea is to batch up most of the LATAM swag and print it in a single location and ship to everyone.  I realize this has been considered before, but I think the challenges then were around payments.  If we printed in the US we can handle the payment there and we can dispatch the packages from their.  In some cases we could even dispatch the swag in small amounts on a per event basis which may reduce the need to pay a single large import duty.

I am hoping we can balance quality, quantity, pricer per piece and shipping/customs charges.

Is this an interesting idea to explore?

regards,

bex

Best regards.
