Hello Everyone,
Greetings. :)
Joerg, thank you for your post. :)
Excellent questions! :)
I will annotate here and update my "Release Party F14 Tokyo Report" :)
Thanks for the report and holding the Event! Can you tell us more
about the feedbacks of the attendees?
Feedback was curious about the Fedora 14 and virtual systems and security models.
What questions did they have,
For example, one questions which came up during my Fedora 14 experience was -
Where can I find new kernels?
I suggested the yum command with options for beginners and the "Information for
package kernel" at
http://koji.fedoraproject.org/koji/packageinfo?packageID=8for
advanced users.
what demographic structure had the audience,
95%+ male, age mid-20's to mid-40's
do you think some of
them are able and willing to start with contributing to Fedora?
Absolutely, I think that some of the people actually do some sort of kernel modifications
as well as are interested with iBus and Anthy software.
Do you had trouble or problems during the Event which we can avoid in
the future?
Weather in Tokyo is a factor for any event. This autumn outdoor event was nice in the
beginning of the day but would be very cool in the evening and are not very
easy to maintain personnel energy and power accordingly as well as
attendees who go indoors for lunch and heated rooms.
Please have a great day! :~)
Thank You
Sincerely
