Hello!

I would like to help packaging.  Actually, I would like to package a couple of small programmes I think they would be useful in Fedora.  But I'm honestly lost, I don't even know how to start.
Maybe if someone helps me, I can go through this and write an article about the process, what is needed, advises, etc.
If such an article is of any help.

My 2 cents.
Sylvia

I know the right solution should be to grow a community that uses them, and eventually helps with the maintain... But I fear that the skills necessary to mantain the packages are too high and the overall system too complicated to attract many new packagers. I asked many time for help and always gratefully accepted every request for co-mantaining. I also tried to teach to various people in my lab and in others how to do that and they invariably got scared and back off.

It'll help if you could share anyways you've found to keep new contributors from being scared.
