Dear ambassadors,
While the JIL (Journée de l'Informatique Libre) is an event that place every year (well since last year) to Toulon on the subject of
Free Software. It is also the only important event of its kind hosted by the city. This remains a much more local event that JM2L example. This day was organized by PostPro association.

For my part I attended the whole day and I held a stand. Moreover Fedora was the only distribution "officially" shown, the other stands involve local associations or more general as APRIL.

We were able to interact with interesting people, make Fedora, etc. Then I reinforced the links with JM2L associations in the corner, Fedora is the only major distribution
not used by a member of these associations, some people who wanted to talk about Fedora have been redirected to me directly particular. I find this important.
The day was otherwise well spent with interesting lectures.

But this event is not organized by PostPro next year. I therefore proposed to organizers to take over in a few weeks, I will discuss more deeply. And of course, Fedora can be better lighting next year in this case (this year it was Kaella, after distribution of the association Linux-Azur).

Organizers for the event have ordered (or received) a large number of Linux Pratique Essentiel (a French magazine) on Fedora 13 (and Ubuntu 10.10), which were free distribution.
At the end of the day, there remained 25. The organizer has kindly given meGiven the overall quality of the article Fedora, I think it could be used at future events.
Otherwise it has received some donations of CDs, about 5-10 left.
