Yes,
It is always good to recognize a work done by the community people. Even if it is small contribution of CD / DVD or other monitory terms should be recognize.
But need to check properly , and it a duty of Ambassadors.

we wish to have about 1000 cd/dvds, but only just printed CD... in my previous email I meant I didn't want fedora spends money to print fedora 9 cds ;-)
^^ for sure?????? ONE Thousand DvDs???? We burned for Linuxtag with more than 10.000 visitors, and three other events 600 ....
Gerold -- I don't know if this is on the Ambassadors areas of the wiki somewhere, but it's very useful information. If Ambassadors have some guidelines for how many pieces of media they should consider requesting, it helps in the overall budget planning as well.
It may not be as simple as saying "1 CD for every {5,10,...} people." For some small events, it makes sense to have 1 piece of media for each person. For some larger ones, the ratio may need to be smaller if we want to stay within budget!
This would be a useful thing to consider drafting and having the Ambassador community think about. I don't think it needs to be an absolute rule, but rather a guideline for planning.
Indeed - we should add a field to the Events and Archived Events page to denote money and media and swag handed out - that would be tremendously useful for future planning.
This is an issue that FAMSCo should take up at their next meeting -- setting some guidelines for media production. The budget will be the biggest factor in the number of pieces of media available at an event. Therefore FAMSCo should be thinking about what portion of the money is sensible to spend on media for events.

Ok, I'll add this in FAmSCo meeting agenda. I invite the interested persons to join the discussion, it's important to understand you necessities, starting from your voice.
