Reading it again, it seems I might have understood it wrong (and
probably so did Christopher), so in the interest of avoiding any future
ambiguity, did you mean that:

1. when it comes to the Chinese community, this Facebook group will be
the main forum for communications, or

2. when it comes to the Chinese community, this Facebook group will be
the main forum for the communications happening on Facebook and only for
them, but this will not be the main forum in absolute (there is/will be
an accessible forum which is/will be the primary one)

I have to admit I understood the former. If this is indeed the intent, I
think we have a problem.

No. It will never be 1. There had been Chinese mailing list hosted on fedoraproject mailman. So, it is 2.

My exp is the mailing list, facebook group (g+ group) and the web forum (more than 2) are all serving different population (with some of them using more than one of them). The main problem is none of the services has become the primary so that a message can reach most of the Fedora Chinese user.

However, if I was wrong, and the intent is the latter, then I am happily
moving out of this thread. :)

I am quite perfectionist on getting every Chinese Fedora user in a same place for discussions or collaborations. However, now I personally accept that it is not possible to get it done, especially not everyone is capable in using mailing list when web forums or even SNS is relatively much easier.
