This thread has gone on for long. It has a bit of rewriting of
history; grudges and slights mentioned and other things which do not
show the project in the best of light. For those who have been gently
nudging about rethinking approaches to the program have previously
undertaken attempts at reform and improvements. In some cases there
have been good results - in others not so much. It might be best to
update the ticket/issue with feedback which allows for a decision to
be taken. The daily set of messages on this thread do not seem to
accomplish much purpose other than creating a sense of deja vu.
I chose Joerg's response to provide the above input because by far it
is the most clear articulation and acceptance of the need to change. I
fear that the subject line of this thread is perhaps a portent (cf.
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Moirai) and that is why it might be best
to arrive at a quick decision on the future of the Ambassador program.
