You have a few misconceptions here. It is upto to the individual mentors to
figure out what they are comfortable with to accommodate you as a
Ambassador. "marketing group" in the account system is not used for
anything at all at the moment and since we don't use it, there is no point
in accepting you into that group. The marketing team is going to discuss
about removing it or making it invite only in their next meeting to avoid
this confusion.

I am sorry to say that, you many need to properly educate your
mentors, Mr. Kaushal told me over IRC that the request is on hold
because I need to prove to my mentor in next 6 months to get promoted
to the Ambassador, Marketing or any other group.
