Hi Arman,

The Ambassador team is actually under the process of a Revamp, along with Fedora's other outreach related teams [0]. The Revamp is a Fedora Objective [1] is in progress to attempt to fix the exact issues you ran into(among others): confusing documentation, and not sure where to find mentors.

Staying subscribed to the Ambassadors mailing list to receive updates about the progress on the Revamp is a great place to start. You can also watch for updates on the Community Blog [2]. In the meantime, with all your experience with Fedora, I encourage you to continue to spread the word until we get the Ambassador program functioning again.

We are planning a session{3] at Nest [4](the upcoming Fedora contributor conference) to work on the documentation[5] for the Outreach teams, and I welcome you to be a part if you are available. The schedule has yet to be published, but registration is open.
