I'm available for supporting.
If I understand, Jiri also spoke with some teams, other steps are:
- contact teams left;
- collect contributor's addresses;
- collect addresses of all release event owners for each party;
- left T-shirt for ambassadors (collecting addresses).
- forward the list to Jiri.
My questions are:
1) do we have to establish the rules?
Yes, ideally together with the teams.
Let me explain the history of this initiative: we wanted to make
t-shirts for ambassadors who organize a release party. But someone
objected that other contributors shouldn't be left out and because OSAS
had some money left in Q1, we produced 220 t-shirts for F19 contributors
without figuring out how to distribute them because there was no time. I
kept saying from the very first beginning that I was willing to do it,
but won't be able to the whole job. I've produced them and will send
them to addresses I'll get as a complete list. Someone has to do the
rest.
So the task is very vague: 220 t-shirts for Fedora 19 contributors,
everything else is left to figure out.
2) as Francesco said it's not clear which teams we should help ,
is
there only one "task force" or even a "task force" for each team?
I've spoken with Sirko Kemter of the design team. We agreed that authors
of picked community wallpapers for F19 would get one. But I haven't had
time to speak about it with Sirko more. So I don't know how far he is.
Then I spoke with Kamil Paral of Fedora QA team and all I know is that
they agreed with rewarding contributors based on some criteria (number
of filled test matrices, reported bugs,...). Then I spoke very shortly
with Dan Vratil of KDE team if they wanted to participate, too.
It'd be great to contact them again in more detail.
It's not limited to just some teams, it's open to all which want to
participate.
