As the FAMSCO representative for APAC you should have equal interest
on all
counties. You must understand that you are here to help and take care of
all the Ambassador in our regional issues but not just entertain your
friends.
I'm sorry to state this but I find these form of emails completely
inappropriate for this particular forum. The subject line indicated
that it would probably be an announcement from the FAD organizers
around the specific topic. However, the larger email has been around
explanations to which this list need not have been informed. I'm not
sure of the IRC channel mentioned is logged and has publicly available
logs. If it does not, using personal logs (off one's individual IRC
client) and furnishing them as a form of supporting narrative is not a
proper method of doing this.
In context of the paragraph that I did use for this reply - I'm not
sure how FAmSCo handles complaints like these. But public ad-hominem
attacks are not what the Fedora credo is. What we write, say, and do
defines how we represent the project. This email, in my book, does not
reflect the best of our project. I understand that there may have been
an instance of emotions running high. But in no way should this
fashion of discussion land up on public mailing lists. I really wish
it hadn't been posted.
