It's that simple.  It's a complementary relationship. 

Yep in many ways it is but is it is equitable one?  I would happier with a Fedora Project Leader role that can only operate via consensus and doesn't have veto power.  If you are trying to improve trust,  this is one way to do it.

 I wonder if people cannot see the wood from the trees, here is a video of the FOSS heroine Pamela Jones upon receiving her award from EFF (Electronic Frontier Foundation) Awards 2010. The point is about loving and nurturing FOSS  and protecting ourselves from the inhibition and restrictive practises of proprietary software that affects every country in this world.
