Let's use double-layer DVD - they are more easy-to-use that double-sided
DVDs. And idea of distributing source codes with binaries is nice.

I was talking about in practice. But guess yeah, as many video
DVDs are double-layered.
Then I really don't see why we may do double-sided.

So are DVD-R, DVD+R, DVD-RAM, and bazillion others.
Not all early drives handled them all.
