Hello Fedorans, I am pleased to give a report on our F16 release party for Silicon Valley. It was a success. There were 15+ folks in attendance. We consider ourselves lucky to have been able to have the event at the Hacker Dojo, as well as our sponsor Alison Chaiken http://events.hackerdojo.com/event/1155026-fedora-16-release-party-installfest-and-bbq We had a mix of folks that were already part of Fedora, to those that knew very little about Linux.

We had a BBQ of hotdogs in honor of the Beefy Miracle. This IS California though, so we DID have vegetarian dogs also. We had a talk on Fedora, it's Foundations, why it is so important to FOSS, and a preview of F17. We also had a very yummy cake (with penguins on it). In addition to the regular swag of stickers, tattoos, and shirts- we had a few prizes. We had an assortment of USB flash drives, and a grand prize of a Beefy Miracle shirt.
