Having the lists broken down and manually checked by region, if not a
perfect solution, at least spreads the load in a way that makes
periodic updates easier.x
    

But is any contact info of those vendors available with anyone?
If yes, we can call them up.
It must have been collected but may be lost by now.
Checking online vendor is easier though.
