Dear all,
2010/6/29 Max Spevack mspevack@redhat.com: [...]
It's my understanding that Sascha is about to head out on a nice vacation. To avoid any delays with the media shipments, perhaps Sascha will agree that Joerg and I can take care of working out the rest of the shipment details with MediaBit, and we can contact MediaBit to let them know that?
Thanks, Max
You are always free to contact Mediabit and clarify things if you wish to. I think it would be better if we collaborate on this via the open community.
We had a an agreement in the last meeting that I wil send out the urgent shipments, which I did 2 hours ago. Also we agreed to shift the plan on the distribution to the next meeting or mailing list. In that meeting the meeting attendees were ok with this way, because the urgency is taken care of.

Am I the only one thinking that it's a bit odd to wait for the next meeting to decide something instead of just deciding right away on the mailing-list?
Not only does it induce unnecessary delay, it also prevents most people from participating in the decision making (all ambassadors are subscribed to the mailing-list, only some of them attend meetings).
Cheers,

While updating the wiki page I realized there is not much to vote about as we only had one proposal. The workflow that Pierros described [1] is basically the same as in previous years [2] and it has proven to work while being cost efficient.
Everybody, please look over https://fedoraproject.org/wiki/Media_production#EMEA_2 and raise your concerns if you have some. Otherwise I suggest go ahead and just do it (TM).
Regards, Christoph
