Hey Max, all,
Ambassadors were discussing in IRC about ordering some Fedora embroidered baseball caps for event swag, and the general consensus was that the Brand Fuel caps were really nice, and it would be cool if we could get them ordered from their manufacturer.
Do you (Max) or anyone on either marketing or ambassadors have any details on the manufacturer that Brand Fuel uses and how we could get in contact with them?
Thanks all, Ryan Rix

Not sure about the Brand Fuel Caps.
Do you (Max) or anyone on either marketing or ambassadors have any details on the manufacturer that Brand Fuel uses and how we could get in contact with them?
As a price comparison you may try this vendor listed at https://fedoraproject.org/wiki/User:Dramsey#Projects -
You may correspond with this manufacturer and inquire on the "Brand Fuel Caps" -

Brand Fuel is the RedHat Vendor, in the past other vendors could provide better prices.

Not for Brand Fuel - but maybe it is a good idea to ask the vendors listed here: https://fedoraproject.org/wiki/Swag_vendors
As far as i know Pascal Calarco took care for stiched fedora-polos in North America - if the vendor has already a stich-card, it can be a cheaper alternative to produce the caps by this vendor - just ask Pascal.

Hi all --
Do we have SVG art that we want to use for this already? If so, I can forward this to the folks who did the Ambassadors polos to get a quote on the caps.
Screen Printed Products does do embroidery, and they do produce baseball caps[1]

Oh wow, they do miniature hockey sticks. Now I want a Fedora hockey stick to, well, I don't know to do what with exactly!

Who cares, it's freaking cool! :)
I'm not sure who has SVGs or anything. I guess I can make one up, but I don't have a scale-able version of Bryant2 or whichever font the logo uses... Someone should probably whip up the SVGs if no one else has them already.

FWIW RC Silk is a Boston-area screen printer that also does amazing embroidery work. I've toured their facilities before, and had some embroidered Spacewalk ball caps done with them and was very impressed with their work. We've also had them produce the Boston FUDcon shirts the past couple of years (and I've worked with them on other Red Hat shirts as well) and they always come out great and have the most competitive prices.
I would advise getting a quote with them just because their prices do tend to be very competitive and the work is top-notch.

RC Silk is on the swag vendors page, for what it's worth. I recently updated this page to capture vendor information that was spread around the wiki.

As stated elsewhere in the thread, we can easily produce new Fedora baseball caps, but we'd probably want to select a different vendor in North America.

I think there is some miscommunication here. Ryan is asking about where Brand Fuel gets their caps made if anyone knows so we can contact that same company. He doesn't want to use Brand Fuel. Perhaps at this point there are enough other vendor suggestions to just head off in a new direction though.

Yes.

Yes.
Sorry all :-) I'll look up some folks tonight, given the chance. Most places will probably not respond until monday at the earliest though.
