Nope, here is how it works:
1. You have an idea.
2. You look for a vendor and have them give you a quote.
3. With that quote, you file a ticket in the EMEA swag tracker.
4. The regional community will decide whether or not to produce
something.
5. Depending on the amount of money it will have to be confirmed by
FAmSCo.
6. OSAS will pay the swag.
So what we want is people NOT just saying "I want a pink pony" BUT "I
know where to get pink ponies and they are 5 EUR each". :)
Months ago we asked for tablecloth quotes.
And we are still waiting for other quotes than mine. Sharing the cost
by producing five or more would be really cool. And this is something
really important on a booth.
The basball caps are really cheap!!! That's nice thanks Jiri I am +1
for this. For the pen too.
Also, being able to sell (without profit) product to our contributors
would be really nice (like voyager bags). But for this kind of product
we could probably have someone dealing with one production, and
contributors sending the money, a bit like for the amba polo shirt.
Kind regards,
Christoph
